European 4-in-1 is the weave you will recognize as medieval armor. My version is as tightly woven as possible to allow fluid movement and feel like fabric. With just the right ring size, pieces will hold their shape against gravity. Since I cut my own jump rings, I can easily play with the aspect ratio by the quarter millimeter for the perfect piece of jewelry.

This is a flat weave which is wonderful for cuff bracelets that are comfortably heavy and fiddle proof. At the same time, earrings in this weave are both bold and incredibly light weight. These pieces are both a joy to make and to wear.
